Come to MLK Library's Great Hall to participate in a fun and informative resource fair! Listen to a playlist built by library patrons like yourself, and learn more about local organizations.
In August and September, stop by the first or third floors of MLK Library to find displays where you can tell us what kinds of music you use therapeutically: Music that makes you feel better when you're down, music that gives you energy, and music that helps you feel your feelings. Your answers will be compiled into a Freegal playlist that you can either add to your account while at the September 10th program, or that you can simply listen to while you're browsing the tables!
Tabling will take place from various local organizations as well as DC Public Library, and will include mental health resources, arts information, and opportunities for volunteering and activism in the DC area. Relaxing coloring sheets will also be available. Stay tuned for a list of organizations, and stop by to learn more!
