Join the discussion of "None of us is Free Until All of us are Free - New Perspectives on Global Solidarity" - a collection of essays by leading activists and scholars.
“This powerful collection of essays and documents on Africa highlights the rich history and vital importance of transnational solidarity. The message and lessons could not be more timely. And who better to curate this collection of voices than Bill Minter—anti-colonialist, anti-racist, and long-distance runner in the global fight for freedom.”
— Barbara Ransby, John D. MacArthur Chair and Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and author of Making All Black Lives Matter.
The talk is presented by the Mt. Pleasant Village and will be followed by Q+A moderated by Dr. Anita Plummer, Associate Professor of African Studies at Howard University. The book will be available for sale and signing courtesy of Sankofa Video, Books and Cafe.
