Synopsis:
In a rapidly digitizing world, Simone and Abe are a young couple navigating the complexities of love, ambition, and modern anxieties. Simone, a driven tech professional, thrives on her work facilitating discussions about emerging technologies, while Abe, a creative writer and academic, struggles with a deep distrust of the digital age's creeping control over personal autonomy. Their contrasting views erupt into tension when Simone reveals she’s working on a project involving digital birth certificates. Abe's fears about technology infiltrating every aspect of human life spark a heated argument, escalating into a broader conflict about their future and the kind of life they want for their unborn child. As their emotional clash unveils deeper insecurities and unspoken resentments, the couple faces an irreversible turning point. Simone's decision to take control of her body and destiny shakes Abe to his core, leaving him to grapple with profound loss and self-reflection.
