IC3-GS6 Digital Literacy Level Two Certification Series

REGISTRATION PERIOD

An 8-week series of in-person classes for the Internet Core Competency Certifications (IC3). Online Registration Required: Tues June 24 – Wed July 2, 2025 Maximum number of participants: 16

If you need to learn and earn the Internet Core Competency Certification (IC3) on GS6-Level Two, the DC Public Library is pleased to offer a 8-week series of FREE in-person classes and the FREE opportunity to take the IC3-GS6-Level Two Certification Exam at the end of the 8-week series.

The 8-week series of in-person classes:

• Will be conducted twice a week for 3-hours on Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:30am – 1:30pm, from July 16 – Sept 3, 2025.
• Will present an intermediate curriculum of these seven skill groups: technology basics, digital citizenship, information management, content creation, communication, collaboration, and safety and security
• Will conclude with two opportunities to take the official IC3-GS6 Level Two Certification Exam
• Attending the 8-week series of in-person classes is required to take the IC3-GS6-Level Two Certification Exam.

Please note the following requirements:

• Online Registration Required: Tuesday, June 24  – Wednesday, July 2, 2025
• Required In-Person Skills Pre-Assessment: Monday, July 7, 2025, 10:30 – 12:30pm
• Required In-Person Orientation: Wednesday, July 9, 2025, 10:30am – 12:30pm
• Maximum number of participants: 16

• You will receive an initial confirmation email from Constant Contact, acknowledging your registration.
• You will receive a follow-up email with the following instructions:
• The day and time to take your pre-screening assessment, if you answered “No” to Question #3 in the registration form.
• The day and time of the required in-person Orientation session.
