Main Street Jazz with Oren Levine
Oren Levine is a jazz pianist and award-winning songwriter from Washington, D.C. He began piano lessons at age eight and continued to play while pursuing engineering degrees and a career in technology. He transitioned into songwriting later in life, writing his first song at 45, and released his debut album, "Making Up For Lost Time", in 2018.
The Making of the Heritage Wall Directory
Next, the “Making of the Heritage Wall Directory” is on Saturday, June 28 at noon. Our own Deborah Grimstead, Michelle Lisa Herman, and Stephanie Mills Trice lead this panel discussion.
They will discuss the Heritage Wall Directory, a written compilation that illuminates the stories behind the 42 Heritage Wall images.
After the event, each panelist is available to discuss the Directory with interested patrons, and light refreshments are available. This event is hosted in Conference Room 1.
