Shirleta Settles is a Washington, D.C. native known for her engaging performances that blend music, storytelling, and drama. She's a versatile entertainer, equally comfortable singing R&B, jazz, blues, pop, and gospel, and experienced in various settings from festivals to political arenas.
She often performs with friends, including Skip Fennel on piano and Wes "Sugar" Biles on bass. Laura Baron, known for her jazz and blues vocals, also frequently joins Shirleta, sometimes with Dave Ylvisaker on piano and Pat Quinn on bass.
