ALL kids ages 0-19 are invited to join us for a parade and festival celebrating Pride. Our theme is "Be-YOU-tiful and Kind."
The Children's Rainbow Festival will kick off with a parade to Montrose Park and back. We will line up on the library driveway at 10:20 and take off at 10:30. You can bring your own signage, or wave one of our rainbow flags in the parade. Rainbow wear, costumes, school representation, or dressing however you feel most fabulous are all encouraged for marchers. After the parade will be a festival behind the library with giant unicorns, crafts, music, popsicles, selfie stations, and a rainbow obstacle course. This event celebrates the diversity of our community and ALL families are invited to take part. We want to show kids that this community supports others in being themselves and in being kind, whatever their gender or sexuality. We welcome children ages 0-19 and their families to this festival.
