Hairspray is set in 1960s Baltimore, based on the Broadway hit and John Waters' cult classic of the same name. It follows Tracy Turnblad, a zaftig high schooler who rises from outsider to celebrity, starring on "The Corny Collins Show," winning Link Larkin's heart, and promoting racial integration on local TV. The film features stars like John Travolta, Queen Latifah, and Michelle Pfeiffer.
