We Are Your Neighbors is an oral history project on display at the library for the month of May, which is Older Americans Month.
In this three-part series, Cleveland & Woodley Park Village will hold three hour and a half long panel discussions related to the “We Are Your Neighbors” exhibit.
Session One, on May 14, New Beginnings after Retirement: A panel discussion of those who pursued second careers or made significant contributions to society after retirement.
Session Two, on May 21, Memories of DC Way Back When: A panel discussion of longtime members of the Cleveland Park and Woodley Park Neighborhoods. Attendees are encouraged to share their stories.
Session Three, on May 28, Cultural Changes in Our Lifetime: A panel discussion with six individuals who witnessed and drove major cultural changes.
Please register by clicking on the Register button, then clicking on Calendar to find the date or dates you plan to attend. You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions.
