Celebrate Pride and bedazzle a pair of sunglasses.
World Pride is coming to Washington, D.C. this year, and Shaw Library has what you need to help you get ready! In addition to our impressive collection of L.G.B.T.Q. resources, we also have rhinestones and gemstones galore, because we know you’ll need to attend all the festivities in style. Stop by for a free pair of sunglasses to decorate (while supplies last). You are also welcome to bring your own item to bedazzle – perhaps you have a shirt, pair of jeans, or other accessory that could use some glitz. All ages are welcome to attend. We’ll have gemstones, rhinestones, glue and hot fix wands on hand to make your most sparkly dreams come true. We can't wait to see what you create!
