Join DC's Office of the Chief Technology Officer the Mayor's Office of Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing for an Internet Safety 101 class.
The District of Columbia is hosting a free technology class tailored for Deaf and Hard of Hearing seniors. This initiative aimed to bridge the digital divide by equipping participants with essential tech skills, thereby enhancing their ability to connect with family and friends. The class also sought to empower attendees to navigate the digital world more confidently, fostering greater independence and engagement with the broader community. For this first session, we'll review basic internet safety.
Sign language interpretation will be provided.
