The Spider-Verse is filled with web-slingers from different worlds, each with their own battles, victories, and unforgettable stories. David Betancourt, a D.C. native and comic book journalist, joins Silvia Foster-Frau to break down how Spider-Man: Stories from the Spider-Verse brings fresh voices and new perspectives to the Marvel universe.

David Betancourt is an editor for Sports Memorabilia and Collectibles at The Athletic. He was previously an Eiser Award-nominated staff writer in the Style section of The Washington Post covering all aspects of comic book culture and is the author of the book "The Avengers Assembled."
Silvia Foster-Frau is a national investigative reporter covering immigration at The Washington Post. She previously wrote about access to safe drinking water and before that, reported on mass shootings and AR-15s. She was a lead reporter for the “American Icon” series at the Post which won the 2024 Pulitzer Prize. She is also president of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists – D.C. Chapter.
