Come leave your mark (design) and pay homage to a music that has influenced the world.
Join Shepherd Park library during African American Music Month as we explore "Hip-Hop". The various forms of art, dance, music, and culture that were historically represented within African American urban areas. Hip-Hop is now being expressed in countries from Thailand to Russia and languages and dialects from Arabic to Twi. Come pay homage to your favorite Hip- Hop artist, dancer ,DJ , tag, or designer on our "Hip-Hop Graffiti Wall" as we celebrate 50 years of this socially changing culture.
Crayons. Markers, Colored Pencils, Paint and Pencils will be supplied.
