IC3 Digital Literacy Certification Series

IC3-GS6-LEVEL TWO Course and Exam

A 10-session series for the Internet Core Competency Certifications (IC3). Registration is required.

If you need to learn and earn the Internet Core Competency Certification (IC3) on GS6-Level Two, the DC Public Library is pleased to offer a 10-session series of FREE in-person classes and the FREE opportunity to take the IC3-GS6-Level Two Certification Exam at the end of the 10-session series.

The 10-session series of in-person classes:

• Will be conducted for 3-hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:30am – 1:30pm, from Feb 20 – Mar 21, 2024
• Will present a more rigorous curriculum of these seven skill groups: technology basics, digital citizenship, information management, content creation, communication, collaboration, and safety and security

Attending the 10-session series of in-person classes is required to take the IC3-GS6-Level Two Certification Exam.

Online Registration Required: Mon January 29 – Friday, February 2, 2024

Maximum number of participants: 16

After you register

• You will receive an initial confirmation email from Constant Contact, acknowledging your registration.
• You will receive a follow-up email with the following instructions:
  • The day and time of the required in-person Orientation session.
  • Documented proof of your IC3-GS6 Level One Certification will be required, if you answered “Yes” to Question #3 in the registration form.
  • A choice of one of two dates on which to take your pre-screening assessment, if you answered “No” to Question #3 in the registration form.
