A conversation with photographer Glen Friedman for his new book What I See.
Join the library and Solid State Books for a conversation with photographer Glen Friedman to discuss his new book What I See: The Black Flag Photographs of Glen E. Friedman. In conversation with Ian MacKaye of Dischord Records, Friedman will discuss his photographs of this iconic punk band with a slide show of photographs and conversation with the audience.
Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing from Solid State Books. A limited number of free copies will be available courtesy of the DC Public Library Foundation.
About the book: A stunning collection of the most iconic photographs ever made of Black Flag, along with never-before-seen photos and a foreword by Chuck Dukowski. 256 jam-packed pages, over 300 photographs, and over 70% of the photos have never been seen.
