Teens are invited to Create their own nicho box, or three dimensional shadowbox frame inspired by the Latin American holiday the Dia de los Muertos.
Come by the Alma Thomas Teen Space to make your own nicho box from cardboard tubes!
Nicho boxes are sometimes a part of the ofrendas of the traditional Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead. These ofrendas are not meant as a way to worship the deceased, but as away to remember and honor the deceased.
Materials to be provided, while supplies last.
