Hope & Faith♡ is a art collective comprised of twin sisters. This is how they created their collage "Sadie's Home."
Interdisciplinary artist collective Hope & Faith♡ will give a virtual Maker Talk on their masterpiece Sadie's Home and their collaborative practice as twin sisters.
Featured in the Salon of the Refused DC and recently acquired by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, the larger-than-life scroll Sadie's Home is a loving snapshot of black ritual and life. In this virtual Maker Talk, Eleisha Faith and Tonisha Hope McCorkle will talk about their two-person artist collective, Hope & Faith♡, and how they use storytelling, imagery, and magic in their practice.
This event will be held virtually. You will receive join instructions two (2) hours before the event is scheduled to begin. Please register at bit.ly/labsclasses to receive an invite.
ASL interpreters and captioning will be provided. For other reasonable accommodation requests, please contact DCPLaccess@dc.gov or call 202-727-2142 at least seven (7) days in advance.
