This workshop is for family caregivers and others who want to learn a way to help with any loved ones who need care.
In conjunction with IONA Senior Services, we offer Photography & Words: A Workshop for Family Caregivers
This four-part workshop offers family caregivers an opportunity to process the day-to-day experience, as well as a time for reflection. Sharing archival images and making new ones, participants add words and find a space for conversation, listening and enjoying a time-out. Anyone is welcome to join the group. It is ideal if you are currently a caregiver, but participants can relate the material to any loved one. Materials and cameras provided.
Karen Ruckman is a photographer and workshop teacher. She has worked in the nation’s capital photographing decision makers.
