Join The 51st and local archives to learn about how history is created and interpreted over time.
Join The 51st and local archives and historians to learn about how history is created and interpreted over time. While news is often referred to as “the first draft of history”, repositories, in some ways, have the final word. Learn how archival organizations choose what to keep; and how interpretation of the same materials change over time. After a short discussion, attendees will be invited to view collections up close on various topics in The People’s Archive.
