An Afternoon with Terry B. Hill and Tracy Quinones Hill for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
Join as at MLK Library for an afternoon focused on real information about prostate cancer for patients, survivors, and caregivers. Terry B. Hill of Jersey City Free Public Library will lead a frank conversation about his experience as a prostate cancer survivor. This "straight talk" session will include statistics from the American Cancer Society followed by a time for attendees to ask any questions they may have about our experience with the intention being that we must have open conversations to fight the stigma around discussions about prostate health. Hill's wife Tracy Quinones Hill will share her experience of being a caregiver and companion to Hill during his time as a patient.
