Experience Japanese paper theater with Kamishibai story sessions
"Kamishibai", or literally “paper theater” in Japanese, is a form of storytelling that combines a set of standard-size illustrated paper cards paired with a scripted performance by a narrator.
Experience the Kamishibai art form during this Kamishibai story session with the Embassy of Japan and the Japan Information & Culture Center. Choose from a variety of stories on Japanese folklore and modern traditions, and pair it with an origami craft activity!
