Join us for a ages 5 & up craft and chat about the Three Sisters legend and planting method!
The Three Sisters is both a legend and an indigenous planting method featuring corn, beans, and squash. This practice was used historically throughout North America and is still part of many indigenous cultures today. Come learn about this practice and make a craft using corn, beans, and squash seeds. This craft is appropriate for ages 5 and up especially since we will be using dried small items that can be easily swallowed by little ones. Please keep younger siblings in the library space.
