Feeling anxious about the elections? Attend this presentation to learn tips to participate and and combat disinformation.
Truth in Common founder Deanna Troust returns to the library to discuss ways Washingtonians can support U.S. elections this year. From participating locally to “prebunking” the election-related disinformation that’s already begun, Deanna will share -- and crowdsource -- practical, pro-democracy tips and a realistic but hopeful outlook for the months to come.
After the talk, participants will be invited to socialize at a neighborhood restaurant and/or participate in a fact-checking project with News Detective.
