Want to actively be part of the “Beloved Community?” Ready to reflect on & discuss social justice with your child? Pick up a MLK Week of Service Activities to Go Kit!
Ready to actively be part of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “Beloved Community?” All this month, stop by the MLK Jr Memorial Library’s children’s room, located on the second floor, for a MLK Week of Service Activities to Go Kit. Designed to promote reflection & discussion on social justice in both historical and present day contexts, each kit contains a variety of hands-on activities (including instructions & materials) for children and adults to work on together. A MLK Day of Service project also is included. Kits are available for ages 5-8 and 9 & up on a first come, first served basis through February 4, 2022.
