Discussion with Osa Atoe and a Panel of Black Zinesters
The author of Shotgun Seamstress, Osa Atoe, brings together a panel of black zinesters to celebrate the release of her book: Alex Smith (Arkdust), Rachel Aggs (I Trust My Guitar), Ambrose Nzams (Demystification) and Fabiola Ching (Hermetic State). The panel discussion will be followed by a book signing and zine-making activity.
Osa Atoe is an artist, teacher, and ceramicist operating Pottery by Osa, producing small-batch handmade ceramics. Currently residing in Sarasota, Florida, Osa previously lived in Portland, OR and New Orleans, where she primarily made Shotgun Seamstress. Osa is also a punk musician who performed in numerous bands including VHS, New Bloods, and Firebrand.
