DC area Digital Navigator Meetup

Design thinking!

Are you a community tech helper, digital navigator, or digital literacy advocate? Join our second DC-Area Digital Navigators gathering to build our community of practice.

For our first quarterly meetup after June's successful DC Area Digital Navigator Summit, we'll dive into collaborative design thinking! This will allow us to learn about each other's work, share ideas and solutions, and think about ways to collaborate and support each other.

1. Presentations:

•  Experience Design for Social Impact: Ben Childers, Stratovation Digital
• Practical Applications of Human-Centered Design at DC Public Library: Martha Saccocio, Director of Community Engagement, DC Public Library

2.  Small group design thinking session- "How might we" problem statements: Ann Marie Guzzi and Brendan Whitaker, Levy 

• Work with colleagues to apply a core design-thinking strategy, "how might we" problem statements, to your work in order to strategize about how to best serve residents.

3. Culmination: group brainstorming exercise on what we'd like to see at 2026 summit, with our problem statements fresh in mind.
