Let books inspire you to create something new!
Stop by the children's program room on Thursday afternoons anytime between 3:00-5:00p.m. for crafty, book-fueled fun. We fill a room with books, craft supplies, and instructions (suggestions, really) to help you get started. You draw inspiration from books and your imagination to create something that is uniquely yours.
This week, we celebrate Native American Heritage Month and learn about secret codes and how to make and decode them, including: the "unbreakable" Navajo code, the cipher wheel, and the pigpen cipher.
