Join us for a retelling of “Alma and How She Got Her Name” in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Library staff and special guests will share the story of Alma and How She Got Her Name by Juana Martinez-Neal on Facebook Live.
Alma Sofia Esperanza José Pura Candela asks her father why she has so many names, and she learns the story of her name and about her grandparents.
This event celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and Beyond the Book.
A craft project will follow the story.
