Learn about DC Public Library's goDigital resource first, and then join us for a 30-min long dancing extravaganza. This is a virtual event. Registration is required.
Who said learning can't be fun?!
Join us every Friday to learn how to access, utilize, and maximize DC Public Library's many goDigital resources. This one hour long workshop is divided into two 30-minute parts. During the first part, we cover one of the goDigital resources (see schedule below) and during the second part we dance! Yes, we'll dance each week to a different playlist created on Freegal (another goDigital resource). Registration is required.
This workshop is open to all levels. You will need a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) and preferably your updated (workable) DC Public Library card. To maximize your learning experience, get ready to take notes and have a working knowledge of your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone). Have more questions about the DISdance Party series? Send an email to labs.dcpl@dc.gov.
Please note - this is a virtual (Zoom) event. You will receive instructions about how to join two (2) hours before the event is scheduled to begin. Captioning will be provided. The workshops are not recorded. For ASL interpreters and other reasonable accommodation requests, please contact DCPLaccess@dc.gov or call 202-727-2142.
This class is a production of the Labs at DC Public Library and a collaboration with IONA Senior Services, Inc.
