If you feel like it's time to refresh your knowledge, improve your skills, and gain a better understanding of a tech issue, this workshop series is for you. Registration is required.
Each week we cover a different topic (see schedule below) ranging from how to share a screen during a Zoom meeting, using Google Drive and other Google apps, to using DC Public Library goDigital resources, media literacy, and social media. Registration is required.
Though it suits different learning levels, this workshop series, open to all adults, has been developed especially for older adults who consider themselves beginners. To maximize your learning experience, get ready to take notes and have a working knowledge of your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone). Have more questions about the workshop series? Send an email to labs.dcpl@dc.gov.
Please note - this is a virtual (Zoom) event. You will receive instructions about how to join two (2) hours before the event is scheduled to begin. Captioning will be provided. The workshops are not recorded. For ASL interpreters and other reasonable accommodation requests, please contact DCPLaccess@dc.gov or call 202-727-2142.
This class is a production of the Labs at DC Public Library and a collaboration with IONA Senior Services, Inc.
