This month, we are reading Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow, an extensive biography of revolutionary and early American stateman, Alexander Hamilton.
While an atypical book club read, it is the main text source for the 2015 smash hit musical, "Hamilton." Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the musical and originated the titular role, with Chernow as a historical consultant.
"Hamilton" the musical went on to live eleven Tony Awards, the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Copies of Alexander Hamilton will be available at the Northeast Library, or you can place a hold yourself from the catalog.
