Exercise your brain and your body! Kids ages 3-5 can enjoy stories with DC Public Library staff and movement activities with Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy coaches.
Books and Baseball (B&B) blends a love for learning and a love for baseball. During each session, DC Public Library staff engage children in early literacy skills through story book read-alouds and related activities, and coaches from Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy lead the children through a fun, rudimentary baseball clinic focused on enhancing participants' motor skills and learning the basics of baseball. B&B typically runs for about 70 minutes and is for youth ages 3-5 and offers open enrollment year-round. Register your rookie for B&B here.
