Join us for a movie screening of a Newbery winning novel adaptation--The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo. An interactive movie kit and take home activity will be provided! This screening will take place on the 2nd floor in the children's area.
The Tale of Despereaux, which won the 2004 Newbery Medal, is a tale of courage, adventure, castles, and mice! The animated movie adaptation is rated G and runs approximately 100 minutes.
Families are invited to attend and can take home an activity kit inspired by the heroes of the movie and the fairy tales we know.
