D.C., this one’s for YOU. Come through and rep your Go-Go roots with a FREE live concert featuring Junkyard Band & Black Alley — plus beats by DJ Remii - at District E during Go-Go Preservation Week!
We’re celebrating the sound that’s been the heartbeat of the city — from the block parties on 7th & Florida to the dance floors of Aqua and beyond. Go-Go isn’t just music — it’s a movement, a memory, a moment. And you are part of that story.
Got classic shots from a show? Behind-the-scenes moments? Iconic Go-Go booth pics? Bring your top 3–4 photos to be scanned and added to the Go-Go Archive on Dig DC. We’re also accepting physical photo donations for the People’s Archive.
Whether it’s your first show, meeting a Go-Go legend, or that unforgettable night when the beat dropped just right — we want to hear it. Memory cards will be available for you to write and share your story.
Enjoy live sets from Black Alley and Junkyard Band, plus catch the game — Monday Night Football will be on all screens. Food and drinks available for purchase. Paid parking is available at the Gallery Place Garage.
📣 Don’t just keep the beat — help us tell the story. Show up, show out, and make sure your voice is part of DC’s Go-Go legacy.
