In this 1.5-hour class, you will learn the parts and functions of the computer, the mouse, and the keyboard, as well as the features of the Desktop. The computer is used to create documents, like résumés, and to conduct online job searches.
Class participants will be able to take the NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment in Basic Computer Skills immediately following this class. If the NorthStar Assessment is passed with a score of 85% or more, you will earn and receive the NorthStar Digital Literacy Assessment Certificate in celebration of Digital Inclusion Week!
