Register for this one-hour-long workshop to learn more about audio recording and audio editing. The workshop is for beginners and those who are interested in audio storytelling. The workshop is divided into two parts. In the first part, the instructor will cover "theory." In the second part of workshop, the instructor will demonstrate how to record and edit audio files with Audacity, a free online tool.
To maximize your learning experience, get ready to take notes and have a working knowledge of your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone). To brush up on your computer skills, check out free classes available through DC Public Library goDigital resources: Universal Class and LinkedIn Learning. Registration is required.
